Are you ready to join the future of innovation in IT at NXP Become part of the startup of a dynamic team that is leading NXP on a digital transformation journey. As a Database Architect / Subject Matter Expert (SME), your role will involve in-depth hands-on experience managing Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL RDBMS database systems. You will be responsible for designing and preparing solution blueprints, high-level and low-level infrastructure designs for diverse solutions, including implementation, migration, integration, or transformation services in datacenters on premises, hybrid and native cloud environments like Azure and AWS. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating the database technologies with Servers, Virtualization, and other solutions. You will have extensive experience in datacenter migrations and expansions using techniques such as database cloning and Oracle Golden Gate replication. Additionally, you will design, configure, and support Active-Active datacenters using technologies like Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and MSSQL Always On clustering. Automation will be a key aspect of your role, and you should be proficient in automating the technology stack using tools like Ansible, GIT, Splunk, REST API, and native scripting. Monitoring solutions such as Splunk, Zabbix, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and native database monitoring will also fall under your purview. Your responsibilities will include ensuring license compliance, researching and testing technology products, establishing migration strategies, designing and documenting DR architecture, and staying current on industry trends and new technologies. You will collaborate with various teams to design efficient, secure, and easy-to-use databases, diagnose and optimize complex SQL queries, and support technical teams in incident, problem, change, and risk management. Your leadership and soft skills will be essential, as you will be required to demonstrate excellent decision-making, team-building, and problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations will be critical for success in this role. If you are a Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with over 15 years of experience in IT architecture/SME roles, and possess strong knowledge of Oracle Databases, we encourage you to apply.
