Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our databases. The DBA will ensure database performance, security, and availability while supporting business-critical applications and development teams.

Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and security.
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with developers to design efficient queries, indexes, and database structures.
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and access control policies.
Automate database administration tasks where possible.
Maintain documentation for database configurations and processes.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator or Database Engineer.
Strong expertise in SQL, database performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of data backup, recovery, clustering, and replication.
Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud DB).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
