Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Management, Administration, Social Work, Rural Development, or related field from a recognized institution.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the public/social sector, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience with government, UN, or World Bank-funded projects preferred.
• Prior work in women’s economic empowerment initiatives in West Bengal desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong management, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skilled in networking, advocacy, and negotiation.
• Transparent, participative, and willing to travel as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the State Project Manager in managing PMU operations and achieving project goals.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and policy inputs for WEP.
• Help prepare and implement Operational Guidelines and Annual Action Plans.
• Coordinate pilot initiatives, onboarding of experts, and effective resource utilization.
• Liaise with the World Bank, DWCDSW, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Support research, documentation, knowledge management, and policy analysis activities.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Project Director or SPM to meet project objectives.
