Role Summary:

Healthcare Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME)

accurate ingestion, semantic alignment, and standardization of healthcare data

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the
domain authority
for healthcare data across:
Clinical workflows:
clinical orders, surgeries, allergies, assessments, scoring, etc.
Patient intake workflows:
scheduling, appointments, administrative processes.
Analyze and interpret
EHR-specific data models
to support ingestion into the EDW.
Collaborate with
data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
to drive:
Semantic consistency
Workflow alignment
Standardization across systems
Document and validate
data mappings
across EHR platforms and clinical domains.
Provide subject matter expertise in
data model reviews
and
interoperability standards
.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years
in healthcare data environments with expertise in:
EHR data modeling
ETL processes
Clinical and patient intake workflows
Hands-on experience with
data models and reporting
from at least 1–2 of the following:
Cerner | Epic | Meditech | McKesson | eClinicalWorks | Allscripts | Athena
Strong knowledge of
ETL pipelines, data quality, and governance
in healthcare.
Ability to interpret
complex clinical data structures
and translate them into actionable models.
Proven success in
healthcare data warehousing
and
interoperability projects
.
