Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Modeler with strong expertise in Data Vault modeling and data architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements and designing scalable and efficient data models that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and translate business requirements into long-term data solutions. Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Develop and apply transformation rules to ensure accurate data mapping across systems. Collaborate with development teams to define data flows and modeling strategies. Establish best practices for data design, coding, and documentation. Review and enhance existing data models for performance and compatibility. Optimize local and metadata models to improve system efficiency. Apply canonical modeling techniques to ensure data consistency. Troubleshoot and fine-tune data models for optimal performance. Conduct regular assessments of data systems for accuracy, variance, and performance. Technical Skills Required: Proven experience in Data Vault modeling (mandatory). Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling (OLTP/OLAP). Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Erwin , ER/Studio , Hackolade , Visio , or Lucidchart . Proficient in SQL and experienced with RDBMS such as Oracle , SQL Server , MySQL , and PostgreSQL . Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra . Experience with data warehouses and BI tools such as Snowflake , Redshift , Databricks , Qlik , and Power BI . Familiarity with ETL processes , data integration , and data governance frameworks . Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Engineering. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with relational and dimensional modeling. Strong understanding of metadata management and related tools. Knowledge of transactional databases , data warehousing , and real-time data processing . Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks). Relevant certifications in Data Management, Data Modeling, or Cloud Data Engineering are a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Show more Show less
