Job Role: Data Modeler
Location: Hyderabad / Ahmedabad
Role Overview
Anblicks is seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 8+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of deep hands-on expertise in data modeling. This role is critical to designing enterprise-grade analytical data models and implementing Medallion (Bronze–Silver–Gold) architectures on modern cloud data platforms.
The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality data models that support advanced analytics, reporting, and AI use cases. Experience with Snowflake and exposure to Real Estate domain data are strong pluses.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Architecture
- Design and implement logical, physical, and dimensional data models to support enterprise analytics and operational reporting.
- Apply industry best practices including Kimball/Inmon methodologies, normalization/denormalization, and canonical modeling.
- Ensure data models meet performance, scalability, governance, and analytics readiness standards.
Medallion Architecture & Data Ingestion
- Design and implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers as part of Anblicks’ modern data platform implementations.
- Define standards for data quality, consistency, lineage, and governance across ingestion and transformation layers.
- Support ingestion of structured and semi-structured data from multiple enterprise sources.
Data Engineering & DataOps Collaboration
- Partner with Anblicks Data Engineering and Cloud teams to implement optimized schemas and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Apply DataOps and CI/CD best practices for versioning, testing, and deployment of data models and transformations.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews for client engagements.
Client Engagement & Documentation
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and domain SMEs to understand business processes and data requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including ER diagrams, data dictionaries, lineage, and transformation logic using tools such as Lucidchart.
- Contribute to Anblicks’ internal accelerators, best practices, and reusable frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, or data architecture roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data modeling.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- SQL and RDBMS
- Dimensional Modeling (Kimball/Inmon)
- Data Warehousing concepts
- ETL/ELT frameworks
- AWS cloud services
- Data modeling tools (ER diagrams, Lucidchart or similar)
- Proven experience implementing Medallion architecture on modern cloud data platforms.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Snowflake data modeling experience is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Real Estate domain data (property, leasing, asset management).
- Exposure to data governance, data quality, and cataloging tools (Collibra, Soda, etc.).
- Knowledge of modern orchestration tools and DataOps practices.
- Consulting or client-facing experience in global delivery models.
