Job Description As a Senior Manager - Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's data infrastructure. You will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining data management systems, ensuring the accuracy and security of the company's data. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics tools and platforms to support the company's business decisions. Responsibilities of Data Engineer Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's data infrastructure. Design and implement data management systems to ensure the accuracy and security of data. Develop and implement data analytics tools and platforms to support business decisions. Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop solutions for these. Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure data practices comply with regulatory standards and company policies. Azure: The candidate should be proficient in working with various Azure services and platforms. They should be able to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance. Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs. Translate business needs into technical specifications and assist in designing data systems and pipelines. Develop and maintain databases, data systems, algorithms, and machine learning models. Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets. Provide training and support to data and analytics users across the company. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's data infrastructure is up-to-date. Minimum 50% official travel required to our manufacturing facility.
