Job Description: As an Assistant Engineer in the Electrical Maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all electrical systems within the organization. You will be expected to adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, manage projects effectively, and utilize IT applications such as SAP for operational planning and execution. Principal Accountabilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical maintenance and engineering, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and safely. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, implementing preventative measures where necessary. Utilize SAP and other IT-related applications for operational planning, project management, and maintenance scheduling. Manage and execute projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Maintain and repair electrical systems, including pipes, to prevent malfunctions and breakdowns. Foster a global mindset, demonstrating business and commercial acumen in all decisions and actions. Exhibit strong entrepreneurship skills, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the department. Promote a culture of people excellence, managing conflict effectively, making sound decisions, and building strong networks both within and outside the organization. Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders as necessary, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Manage and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
