Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of health claim fraud detection. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, integrating AI/ML models in Vertex AI, and improving data processing workflows to detect fraudulent claims faster and more accurately. Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the healthcare or financial sector. Strong experience with Google Cloud (GCP) services: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc. Expertise in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation. Experience with ML model deployment and monitoring in Vertex AI. Knowledge of ETL pipelines, data governance, and security best practices. Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance frameworks. Experience with Apache Beam, Spark, or Kafka is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fraud detection models using AI/ML. Hands-on experience with ML Ops in GCP. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team
