Role Responsibilities Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python and Pyspark. Develop and maintain data models that support organizational analytics and reporting. Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Integrate and maintain Snowflake for data warehousing solutions. Ensure data quality and integrity through effective ETL processes. Conduct data profiling and performance tuning to optimize system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data architecture standards and best practices. Participate in the creation of documentation for data flows and data management best practices. Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data information. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering. Assist in migrating existing data solutions to cloud-based infrastructures. Support continuous improvement initiatives around data management. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers. Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Proficient in Python programming and Pyspark framework. Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing platforms. Strong understanding of ETL principles and data integration techniques. Solid understanding of database design and data modeling concepts. Excellent SQL skills for querying databases and data analysis. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
