Data Center Operation Lead

The Data Center Operation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our data center located in Mumbai. This role requires a proactive individual with substantial experience in managing data center environments, ensuring optimal performance, and leading a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components.
• Implement and enforce data center policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support project deployments and troubleshooting.
• Monitor data center infrastructure and services, addressing issues proactively.
• Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding data security and management.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
