Job Summary

Seasoned Data Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end

  cloud data platforms

  using

  Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric

  .
• Design and deploy

  Snowflake data architectures

  (multi-cluster, multi-zone, cost-optimized) ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance.
• Build robust

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, dbt, Snowflake Tasks, and Streams.
• Develop data lakehouse and warehouse models leveraging

  Snowflake

  and

  Fabric Lakehouse

  frameworks.
• Implement secure Snowflake features such as

  RBAC

  ,

  data masking

  , encryption,

  secure data sharing

  , and cross-region replication.
• Lead migration of legacy data warehouses to

  Snowflake

  and

  Azure Synapse

  , modernizing enterprise analytics architectures.
• Conduct

  performance tuning

  , cost optimization, resource monitoring, and storage governance across Snowflake workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reusable, and governed enterprise data assets.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance policies using Azure Purview and Fabric governance tools.

Technical Skills Required

Snowflake Expertise

• Architecture design, multi-cluster setup, performance tuning
• Clustering, data sharing, streams, tasks, zero-copy cloning
• RBAC, data masking, encryption, cost governance
• Cross-region replication and multi-cloud integration

Azure & Fabric Skills

• Azure Synapse Analytics

  (Dedicated & Serverless SQL Pools)

• Microsoft Fabric:

  Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake, KQL, Power BI integration

• ETL/ELT Tools:

  Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, dbt

• Languages:

  SQL, T-SQL, Python

• Data Modeling:

  Star/Snowflake schema, Dimensional, Lakehouse modeling

• DevOps:

  Azure DevOps, CI/CD for data pipelines

• Governance:
