Data Analyst Trainee

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Trainee to join our growing team in Nagpur. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for recent graduates and final-year students who are passionate about data and eager to build a career in analytics. RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in collecting and consolidating data from multiple sources, including databases and spreadsheets.

- Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Conduct basic exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

- Develop and maintain simple dashboards and reports using tools like MS Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

- Support senior analysts with data extraction, report generation, and ad-hoc analysis requests.

- Document data sources, methodologies, and findings clearly.

- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data requirements and provide support.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an exceptional eye for detail.

- Foundational knowledge of SQL for data querying is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and charts.

- Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool is a plus.

- Basic understanding of statistical concepts.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
