Siemens Energy “Digital Products and Solutions” team (DPS) supports all SE Business Areas in their growth of their digital business!We consult, design and develop tailored solutions for the customer market, based on their specific technical and commercial constraints.Our second mission is to professionalize, automate and standardize SE software development.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will be part of our Siemens Energy Prescriptive Marketing team and will get own responsibilities over time and partner with our stakeholders
- You will analyse energy markets in Asia Pacific, build an understanding of the development of these markets and derive conclusions for our customers
- You will research, collect and integrate relevant data sources into your market model to benchmark and improve results.
- You will create and present profitability and upgrade analyses

What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or successful, proven experience with complex solutions
- Very good communication skills in English
- Analytical thinking and problem solving, deriving a solution
- A can-do attitude, result driven and openness to learning
- Experience in coordinating with other teams / stakeholders
- Understanding how to treat different data sources, incl. industry publications or government roadmaps and conclude valuable inputs
- Experience with handling outliers, discrepancies and other issues in data sets
- Experience with monitoring and comparing calculation results with proper benchmarks
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, Snowflake
- A plus: Familiar with Asian Pacific energy markets
- A plus: Experience with energy market modelling solutions

In the central Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) organization, our Software Application and Engineering department is responsible for developing software solutions for both internal and external customers.In DPS, our software products already cover a wide range of categories, and we see many opportunities for growth: Asset Performance Management, Energy Management, Asset Monitoring, Asset Health Prediction, Customer Portal & AI-assisted Applications, Connectivity & Edge, Backend Core / Domain / Platform Services, and Professional Services.
