Data Analyst Internship

Internship Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, structure, and preprocess datasets for analysis
• Perform

  Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

  to identify patterns and trends
• Build

  interactive dashboards

  using tools like

  Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio

• Write and optimize

  SQL queries

  for data extraction and manipulation
• Conduct

  statistical analysis

  and hypothesis testing for insight validation
• Automate workflows using

  Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)

  or Excel
• Assist in developing data-driven reports and performance metrics
• Present findings to mentors and collaborators in clear and concise formats

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in

  Data Science, Statistics, CS, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields

• Strong understanding of

  Excel and SQL

• Familiarity with

  Python

  for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
• Knowledge of

  data visualization

  tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
• Basic understanding of

  statistics and probability

• Good communication skills and ability to explain insights clearly
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to explore real-world datasets
