Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our analytics team. This role offers hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data-driven decision-making, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Assist in developing dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Support the data team in automating repetitive data processes and improving data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance, etc.) to support business decisions with data insights.
• Document methodologies, findings, and insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and contribute to ongoing data projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and one or more programming languages (Python or R preferred).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar).
• Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques.
• Good communication and presentation skills to convey insights effectively.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Excel advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Basic understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Exposure to Google Analytics, BigQuery, or similar tools.
