Data Analyst

Role and Responsibilities:

• Comfortable working with data, including managing large number of data sources, analyzing data quality, and pro-actively working with client’s data owners to resolve issues

• Ability to understand mainframe data systems, mine data to diagnose issues, identify resolution pathways and execute solutions

• Executing methodology on analytics platform and developing scripts

• Generating analysis documentation and ensuring policy compliance

• Create business presentations for executives explaining the diagnosis of problem, resolution pathways and business recommendations

• Use variety of analytical tools (Python, SQL, PySpark etc.) to carry out analysis and drive conclusions

• Reformulate highly technical information into concise and understandable terms for presentations

• Program management for multi-tier client engagement

• Maintain high degree of customer satisfaction and NPS score

Candidate Profile:

• 4+ years of consulting, analytics delivery experience

• 3+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services analytics.

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, computer engineering or related analytics field

• Very strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and complex customer problems required

• Experience of working in financial services and risk analytics domain

• 3+years of experience in working with legacy banking systems, databases with exposure to retail banking products and operations management systems

• 3+years of experience in operations analytics and risk analytics in banking domain

• Good understanding of banking operations, products and banking processes

• 3+ years experience in working with legal teams, compliance partners and internal audit

• Strong record of achievement, solid analytical ability, and an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Required skills: Python, SQL, Hive, PySpark, Hadoop, Tableau, JIRA

Job Location

• 2-3 days work from office in Gurugram; Expected to align with US working hours
