As a GMO MI - Data Analyst, you will be responsible for client service and operational execution tasks. You must ensure risk control and enhance controls in accordance with rules and regulations, following well-defined procedures and making judgments based on practice and previous experience. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in: - Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of data analytics for interrogating data and producing high-quality management information to aid key stakeholders in making informed decisions. - Using Business Intelligence Tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BO, POWER BI, as well as data management platforms like SQL, AWS Redshift, MongoDB. - Having knowledge of Banking Operations, specifically Markets products/processes, would be advantageous. Your role will be based out of Chennai. In this position, your main responsibilities include: - Investigating and analyzing data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. - Executing data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. - Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. - Developing and applying advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. - Documenting data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.
