Data Analyst - Enterprise Data

vConstruct, a Pune based international engineering and construction services firm seeks a Data Analyst for their Data Science and Analytics team which is a tight-knit group of analysts and engineers that support all data aspects of business.

Job Summary:

We are seeking Data Analyst who can work in dynamic environment to support data analysis for the cross functional teams in the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with understanding of domains like Finance, CRM, and HR.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI.

2. Optimize performance of Power BI solutions through efficient DAX queries, data modeling, and report design.

3. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.

4. Create scalable, flexible, and optimized data models that align with business goals.

5. Experience in data integration, modeling and handling access control users through RLS.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze business needs.

7. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business strategies and performance tracking.

8. Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and models.

9. Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.

Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI and Paginated Reports.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake preferred).
• Understanding data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years in data analysis, preferably in HR, CRM and Operations domain.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Tools & Platforms:

• Databases: SQL, Snowflake
• BI Tools: Power BI
• Others: Advanced Excel, Paginated Reports
