D365 Functional Consultant Business Central

You have 5-8 years of work experience and are required to lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central, with a focus on Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Taxation, and Consolidation. Your responsibilities include conducting workshops, gathering business requirements, preparing detailed documentation, translating business needs into functional specifications, configuring, testing, and deploying financial modules and related integrations. It is essential to ensure proper data migration and reconciliation of financial balances from legacy systems. As a lead, you will provide guidance to the functional team, review and mentor consultants and trainees, deliver user training, UAT support, and post-go-live stabilization. Furthermore, you will act as the client-facing lead for the Finance workstream, ensuring smooth communication and stakeholder management. Collaboration with cross-functional teams on integrations with third-party systems is also a part of your role. Compliance with statutory, taxation, and audit requirements in Finance processes is crucial. You will also support pre-sales efforts, including client demos, solutioning inputs, and proposal support when required. As a candidate, you are expected to have a strong domain background in Finance & Accounts, preferably a Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance. A minimum of 3 full-cycle end-to-end implementations in D365 BC / NAV is required. Hands-on experience in Finance configuration, process mapping, and solution design is essential, with exposure to Trade & Logistics modules being an added advantage. Excellent documentation, client-facing skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are key attributes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate, are preferred. Soft skills required for this role include strong communication, presentation, and consulting skills, leadership qualities to handle a team of functional consultants, ability to manage client expectations, handle escalations effectively, and maintain a professional, polished, and confident demeanor in customer-facing interactions.,
