BNC has been mandated to recruit a Cybersecurity / SOC Engineer to join one of our esteemed clients’ security operations teams based in Delhi NCR.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats. You will help safeguard systems and data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability across the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools and other security platforms.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents (malware, phishing, unauthorized access, etc.).
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions.
• Maintain and enhance SOC processes, playbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to implement security controls and hardening measures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support patch management activities.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, trends, and findings for management review.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and security best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in SOC or cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of incident response frameworks and threat intelligence.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 SOC environment (rotational shifts if required).

Preferred Certifications

• CompTIA Security+, CEH, Splunk Certified, or equivalent.
• Blue Team/SOC Analyst certifications are an added advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple incidents under pressure.
• Proactive team player with a strong security mindset.
