Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Presales Consultant plays a strategic role in driving enterprise-level cybersecurity solution sales by combining deep technical expertise with strong business acumen. With 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, solution consulting, and client engagement, the consultant will lead complex pre-sales cycles, develop advanced security architectures, and influence senior stakeholders. The role demands hands-on knowledge of multiple security domains, proven experience in designing large-scale solutions, and familiarity with leading OEM technologies.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Client Engagement & Needs Analysis

Lead high-level discussions with CISO, CIO, and IT leadership to assess business goals, risk posture, and security maturity.

Conduct advanced discovery workshops and gap assessments for enterprise clients.

Map customer pain points to strategic cybersecurity initiatives and compliance mandates.


2. Advanced Solution Architecture & Design

Architect enterprise-grade security solutions across multiple domains, including: Network Security: Next-Gen Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, DDoS protection.

Endpoint Security & EDR/XDR: CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender.

Cloud Security: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Palo Alto Prisma, AWS/Azure native security tools.

SIEM & SOAR: IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, DNIF, FortiSIEM.

Identity & Access Management: Arcon, Okta, Azure AD, CyberArk.

Data Security: DLP solutions (Symantec, Forcepoint), encryption technologies.

Prepare high-level and low-level solution designs, architecture diagrams, and bill of materials.


3. Technical Competency Demonstrations

Deliver executive briefings, whiteboarding sessions, and hands-on demos tailored to client needs.

Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, manage test environments, and validate solution effectiveness.

Participate in industry events, webinars, and thought leadership activities.


4. RFP/RFI Leadership & Bid Support

Lead the technical response for large-scale RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.

Collaborate with bid teams to ensure commercial and technical alignment.

Define implementation scope, timelines, and success criteria.


5. Collaboration & Enablement

Partner with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with solution roadmaps.

Mentor junior pre-sales engineers and share best practices across the team.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

BSC, BE Computer Science, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
