Cyber Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Note: This is a 100% on-site role at the Ahmedabad, GJ location with rotational shifts.

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The role requires expertise in cloud security, incident response, and vulnerability management, with hands-on experience in leading cloud platforms. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, ensuring the highest levels of security for our infrastructure and applications. They provide technical knowledge in designated areas during troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem management lifecycle. This technical role requires the ability to interact with internal and external peers in IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams, vendors and third-party support organizations, as well as participation in advisory boards and incident management cases.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct incident detection, investigation, and response activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud adoption. - Perform vulnerability assessments and manage remediation plans.
• Maintain documentation of security incidents and processes.
• Work with vendors and apply specific knowledge to troubleshoot issues, comply with SLAs, support impact assessment and interconnectivity with other systems, tools, processes, and workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation, diagrams, and workflows for assigned systems.
• Ensure compliance of configurations and workflows with company policies, standards, certifications, and client contract requirements.
• Participate in advisory boards, change management, reviewing requests, and root cause analysis.
• Analyze logs, information, data, threat intelligence, and other sources as part of incident detection, investigation, resolution, and reporting.
• Strictly follow approved team and company processes and procedures, particularly the Incident Management and Change Management lifecycles.
• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions in Cloud Security Tools.
• Strengthen security posture across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Strong knowledge of PRISMA Cloud and cloud security frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
• Proficiency in incident response and vulnerability management.
• Solid understanding of security operations and risk management.
• Knowledge of common vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards.
