Role Description

This is an internship on-site role located in Guwahati for a Customs Operations Trainee. The internship can be converted into full-time employment after an evaluation based on performance. The Customs Operations Trainee will handle day-to-day tasks such as filing of Bill of Entry / Shipping Bill, import/export documentation, and communication with stakeholders. The trainee will assist in ensuring compliance with regulations, manage import and export processes, and provide support in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities -

• Assist in preparing and maintaining customs documentation for import and export shipments.
• Support the team in filing Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth cargo clearance.
• Maintain records and update shipment tracking data in internal systems.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements -

• Education:

  Minimum Class 12 pass or Graduate (preferably in Commerce or related field).

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in

  MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  and basic computer operations.

• Communication:

  Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Teamwork:

  Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility:

  Willingness to work on a

  shift basis or Full- time

  as per operational requirements.

• Languages Known:

  English, Assamese, Hindi, and Bengali.
