Role Description This is an internship on-site role located in Guwahati for a Customs Operations Trainee. The internship can be converted into full-time employment after an evaluation based on performance. The Customs Operations Trainee will handle day-to-day tasks such as filing of Bill of Entry / Shipping Bill, import/export documentation, and communication with stakeholders. The trainee will assist in ensuring compliance with regulations, manage import and export processes, and provide support in logistics operations. Key Responsibilities - Assist in preparing and maintaining customs documentation for import and export shipments. Support the team in filing Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills, and related paperwork. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth cargo clearance. Maintain records and update shipment tracking data in internal systems. Ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned Skills & Requirements - Education: Minimum Class 12 pass or Graduate (preferably in Commerce or related field). Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer operations. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility: Willingness to work on a shift basis or Full- time as per operational requirements.
