Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Assistant for New Part Development to support the creation, management, and submission of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation. This role is pivotal in ensuring that new automotive components meet customer specifications and quality standards throughout the development and production phases. Key Responsibilities APQP & PPAP Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive APQP and PPAP documentation, including but not limited to: Design Records Process Flow Diagrams PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Control Plans Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Dimensional Results Material and Performance Test Records Part Submission Warrant (PSW) Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding APQP and PPAP documentation. Documentation Review: Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to gather necessary data and resolve any documentation-related issues. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the review and improvement of documentation processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
