Job Description

Inside Sales / Customer Sales Representative (CSR) Bangalore, India Full Time Objective: To support sales operations by efficiently managing customer communication, preparing quotations and sales documentation, ensuring timely follow-ups, maintaining sales data, and enabling seamless coordination between customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quotation & Documentation Management Prepare and share customer quotations (quotes/RFQ responses) and Proforma Invoices (PIs) based on pricing inputs. Issue Sales Order Acknowledgements after customer confirmation. Coordinate for pricing and lead times, and incorporate this into customer quotations. 2. Order & Payment Coordination Follow up with customers on order confirmation and PO issuance. Track advance and final payments as per terms; coordinate internally to ensure finance updates. Maintain a tracker for quote vs PO conversion ratio. 3. Customer Engagement & Requirement Management Maintain regular communication with existing customers for follow-ups on requirements, order updates, and support needs. Understand new component requirements and coordinate with the technical team or suppliers for solutions. Track repeat requirements and set reminders/follow-up schedules. 4. Sales Operations Support Maintain Purchase Order (PO) Status reports open, delivered, pending, delayed. Coordinate with logistics and technical teams to update customers on material dispatch, delays, or queries. Work with the team to handle customer escalations related to lead time, deliveries, and payment delays. 5. Reporting & MIS Prepare and circulate weekly MIS reports, including: - Quote vs PO conversion summary - RFQ status and win/loss analysis - Open PO summary - Repeat order pipeline - Payment follow-up status Maintain an internal dashboard with real-time tracking of sales opportunities and customer pipeline. 6. Data Management & CRM Coordination Ensure all communication and transactions are logged in the internal CRM or tracking system. Maintain a centralized record of customer contacts, PO copies, invoices, dispatch details, and payment proofs. Key Skills Required: Strong communication and follow-up skills Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP/CRM systems Basic technical understanding of electronic components Preferred Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Engineering or Business Administration 1 3 years of experience in inside sales or customer coordination in electronics, distribution, or tech sectors
