Role & responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales and market development of poultry animal nutrition products, including feeds, feed additives, supplements, and related solutions. The role requires a strong background in the poultry or animal nutrition industry, a deep understanding of customer needs (farmers, veterinarians, dealers), and the ability to manage a sales team or dealer network in the assigned territory. 1) Drive sales of poultry nutrition products (complete feeds, premixes, feed additives, and supplements) within the assigned region. 2) Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and clients including poultry farms, feed mills, and agri-retailers. 3) Develop territory sales plans aligned with company objectives and regularly track sales targets. 4) Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, veterinary professionals, and business partners. 5) Conduct product demonstrations, farmer meetings, and technical support activities to promote product benefits. 6) Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments. 7) Provide regular sales forecasts, market feedback, and performance reports to senior management. 8) Coordinate with the technical team for field support and customer education. 9) Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding credit limits. Preferred candidate profile 1) Bachelors degree in animal science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or related field. (MBA or PG in Agribusiness is a plus). 2) Minimum 5 years of experience in animal nutrition or poultry feed sales. 3) Strong understanding of poultry feeding practices, health management, and farm economics. 4) Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. 5) Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems. 6) Willing to travel extensively across the assigned area.
