Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

15 years full time educationPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled Foundry Application Developer who knows how to use Ontology and application-building tools available in the Foundry suite. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with designing, building, or maintaining applications running on top of Foundry. As a key contributor, you will help design, develop, and optimize data solutions that empower business stakeholders and drive impactful data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities â€¢ Develop and maintain robust custom applications within the Palantir Foundry platform. â€¢ Collaborate with teams to design actionable dashboards driven by business insights. â€¢ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Palantir application for performance and reliability. â€¢ Document architecture, processes, and best practices for ongoing support and knowledge sharing. â€¢ Determine the right tool for application development (workshop, slate, quiver, vertex, etc) Required Skills & Qualifications â€¢ Palantir Foundry: Proven experience and practical skills necessary to build and maintain custom user-facing applications on top of ontology. Specifics required are as follows: - General knowledge of platform capabilities and specific applications within the Foundry suite that are useful for custom application development - APPLICATION DESIGN Design the ontology necessary to power custom applications based on business requirements Ability to choose between Workshop, Quiver, Slate, and Object Views to make trade-offs between development speed, maintainability, and user experience USER EXPERIENCE AND CROSS-APPLICATIONS WORKFLOWS Identify opportunities for embedding and redirecting between custom and built-in applications that improve user experience or maintainability Identify situations where Scenarios and Foundry Rules can be used to let users interact with models and data pipelines APPLICATION MAINTENANCE Familiarity with best practices of version control and release management Identify and avoid issues related to data freshness and application performance Know how to react when source data or usersâ€™ requirements change Identify opportunities for turning static dashboards into useful operational workflows Experience working with large and complex data sets from multiple sources. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and scripting languages like javascript/typescript is a must Knowledge of dashboarding applications like Qlik, Tableau, etc is a plus Experience in usage and integration of AIP tools across Foundry like Logic Apps, Agent Studio, Automate to build solutions in Workshop Preferred Qualifications â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s or Masterâ€™s degree in Computer Science â€¢ Prior experience in developing front end applications and dashboards within a fast-paced environment. â€¢ Certification in Palantir Foundry (Foundational/Professional) will be an added advantage, 15 years full time education
