Csr Officer

Role & responsibilities:

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

• Execute CSR projects, including health, education, environmental, social, and philanthropic initiatives. • Lead implementation of CSR programs such as Widow Sustenance, Scholarships, Healthcare, and Livelihood projects in the assigned region. • The position will be based at the Companys Mumbai (Colaba) office; however, extensive travel to project locations across North and South India will be required. One candidate will be responsible for the South region and the other for the North region, focusing on monitoring, implementation, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates should also be willing to relocate to project sites if required in the future.

Risk Management

• Assess potential ethical, environmental, and social risks associated with business operations. • Ensure transparency and accountability in CSR reporting and impact measurement.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and industry bodies. • Build and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community leaders, and local institutions. • Engage employees, customers, investors, and partners in CSR initiatives. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Conduct field visits, inspections, and beneficiary verifications. • Measure and report CSR impact using key performance indicators (KPIs). • Prepare periodic CSR reports for internal and external stakeholders, including success stories and compliance updates. • Continuously assess and improve CSR strategies based on feedback and industry trends.

Zakat Compliance & Ethical Financial Management

• Ensure proper calculation, collection, and distribution of Zakat in accordance with Islamic principles. • Work with finance and compliance teams to integrate Zakat payments into corporate financial planning. • Maintain accurate beneficiary and fund utilization records for Zakat-linked programs.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 3-5 years of experience in managing CSR initiatives
• Experience in Zakat compliance and fund distribution in alignment with Islamic principles
• Familiarity with charitable organizations/NGOs in India and experience with multi-location project management.
