Credit Manager

As a Credit Manager, your primary job responsibilities include: - Conducting credit appraisal by screening customer applications, evaluating LAP proposals, and presenting them to senior management. - Analyzing the risk associated with credit proposals through financial, business, management, and industry analysis of the clients" businesses. - Performing due diligence on clients by meeting promoters, visiting factory/business premises, and gaining an in-depth understanding of the business model. - Ensuring compliance with the Risk policy & authority matrix at branches in the assigned area. - Assisting in Predictive Portfolio Performance Design and Implementation, including developing an analytic framework and predictive forecasting triggers in portfolio management. - Managing the credit buying process by monitoring turnaround time, approvals, reviewing samples, and conducting quality checks on the process. - Implementing effective mechanisms to mitigate various risks and establishing guidelines for fraud detection & control as per regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Liaising with legal, technical, and operational teams for loan disbursement.
