Credit Control Executive

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance & Accounts team as a *Credit Control / Accounts Executive*. The role will be responsible for managing receivables, monitoring customer credit, ensuring timely collections, and supporting overall accounting functions. The position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Credit Control & Receivables

• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and approval processes.
• Reconcile customer accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare ageing analysis reports and highlight overdue accounts to management.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers where necessary.

2.Accounts & Finance

• Record and reconcile daily sales, receipts, and adjustments.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly account closing and preparation of MIS reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer transactions.
• Support statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) by providing timely data.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

3. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with the Sales, Dispatch, and Customer Service teams to align on credit and payment terms.
• Escalate high-risk accounts to management promptly.
• Provide management with periodic cash flow projections based on receivable trends.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, receivables, and credit management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (Zoho Books/Tally/ERP preferred).
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications & Experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution industry preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
