The analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company s lending decisions by assessing the financial viability and risk of potential borrowers, as well as ensuring adherence to credit policies and regulatory standards after credit has been approved. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Sanction Responsibilities: Credit Assessment: Review and analyze loan or credit applications to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. This includes scrutinizing financial statements, credit reports, business plans (for commercial clients), and other relevant documentation. Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence by verifying applicant information, including employment verification, property appraisals (for mortgages), secured and unsecured lending and the authenticity of financial documents.
