Position Overview

• Department: Debt Syndication
• Experience: 0.5 - 5 Years
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Reporting To: Team Leader
• Location: Andheri East, Mumbai (On-site)
  

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end credit assessment for Retail & SME loan proposals
• Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and credit bureau reports
• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal notes and risk recommendations
• Underwrite loans using credit scoring and risk-rating models
• Structure appropriate collateral, covenants, and risk mitigants
• Perform customer due diligence, field verification, and site visits for higher-risk cases
• Identify and document credit, fraud, and operational risks
• Monitor assigned loan portfolios and track early warning indicators
• Recommend corrective actions, restructuring, or remediation measures
• Collaborate with sales, collections, and operations teams to enhance underwriting quality and turnaround time

• Credit Scoring & Risk Rating Models
• Advanced Excel
  

Preferred

• IFRS 9 exposure
• Portfolio Monitoring experience
  

Qualification

• CFA – Any Level Cleared (mandatory)
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 0.5– 5 years of experience in credit analysis or lending within NBFCs, Banks, Fintechs, or Financial Services firms
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to documentation, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment
