Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute country-level business strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Identify market opportunities and prepare annual business plans and budgets.
• Represent the company to government authorities, business partners, and clients.

• Business Development & Operations

• Oversee sales, procurement, business development, and merchandising activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
• Grow market share and revenue by introducing new products and services.
• Ensure efficient import/export procedures, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

• Financial Management

• Drive profitability through effective cost control and revenue growth initiatives.
• Oversee P&L, monitor KPIs, and report performance to headquarters.

• People Leadership

• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing local team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and innovation.

• Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all local operations comply with government regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate business risks.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in international trading, merchandising, or related industries with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong track record of business development and team management.
• Excellent knowledge of import/export regulations and trading practices.
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
• Fluency in English.
