Counsellor

Job Summary

The Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students and parents through the admission process, promoting university programs, and maintaining effective communication to ensure smooth enrollment. The role requires excellent communication, counselling, and follow-up skills to achieve admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, eligibility, scholarships, and admission procedures.

• Conduct telephonic, online, and in-person counselling sessions to convert leads into admissions.

• Participate in education fairs, career counselling sessions, and other outreach activities.

• Maintain regular follow-up with leads and ensure timely updates in the CRM/admission system.

• Coordinate with schools, coaching institutes, and regional offices to promote university programs.

• Support admission events, webinars, and marketing campaigns.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.

• Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with students and parents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably in Management, Education, or Communication).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Good presentation, counselling, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle student queries with patience and clarity.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

• Willingness to travel for outreach and admission drives.
