About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and goal-oriented Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for connecting with students and working professionals, understanding their learning goals, and guiding them towards suitable programs through effective counselling and follow-up. This role involves a mix of telecalling, academic counselling, and career guidance to help individuals make informed educational and career decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound and inbound calls to prospective students and professionals. Understand learner needs , interests, and career goals to recommend suitable courses or programs. Maintain detailed records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools. Counsel walk-in and online inquiries about academic programs, eligibility, and career outcomes. Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to meet enrollment targets . Assist in organizing seminars, webinars, and career counselling sessions . Provide accurate information about course structure, fees, schedules, and placement assistance. Maintain a professional and positive attitude to ensure a great experience for every candidate. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field . Proven experience in student counselling, telecalling, or sales (preferably in the education sector). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Strong ability to persuade and convert leads into admissions. Proficiency in MS Office / CRM software . Highly organized, self-motivated, and target-driven. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in counselling for IT, management, or certification programs .
