Costing Executive

We are a leading organization in the interior design, modular furnishing, specializing in high-quality solutions for commercial, residential, and institutional clients. We are seeking an experienced Costing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

The Costing Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, evaluating vendor quotations, and supporting the project and sales teams with timely costing information. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and at least 5 years of experience in project costing within the interior design/furnishing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior design, modular furniture, and turnkey fit-out projects.

Analyze drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and site requirements to determine project cost.

Coordinate with the design, project, and procurement teams for accurate material and labor cost inputs.

Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and maintain a competitive rate database.

Prepare preliminary budgets, cost comparisons, and value-engineering alternatives.

Monitor cost variations during project execution and update estimates accordingly.

Support the sales team with tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and justification reports.

Assist in rate analysis for new materials, products, and technologies.

Prepare project costing reports, margin analysis, and feasibility studies.

Ensure compliance with company pricing strategies and financial guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in costing/estimation within the interior design, furnishing, modular furniture, or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of market pricing, materials, finishes, and interior execution processes.

Proficiency in MS Excel, costing software, and reading technical drawings.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and time-management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Attributes

Knowledge of AutoCAD/Estimating tools.

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
