SUMMARY DESCRIPTION : Overlooks all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination, customer support and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events) arrangements and executions handled by Assistant Manager- Travel and Travel Executive. Overall control over day-to-day operations. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Overlooking all operations handled by Assistant Manager – Travel and Travel Executive. Having weekly reviews with the Assistant Manager by keeping track of their performance and if any discrepancies found advise them on improvements accordingly. Developing strategic policies and programs for corporate travel Managing and assigning the Annual Travel-related budget. Have Travel Engagement meetings with leaders and provide them with an insight on current travel expenses and ways of controlling the costs. Assisting with any travel-related issues that may arise. Researching travel deals and evaluating prices and services. Supervise investigation as well as resolution of internal plus external client complaints. Monitor training on Expense and Travel processes in line with Online booking tool. Provide continuous analysis and development of technology and systems in the area of travel Establish operating goals and plans. Perform closely with Assistant Manager and Travel executive to identify as well as resolve risks and control business problems. Negotiate contracts or rates with travel service providers. Visiting hotels for safety, security and hygiene audit Overlooking all Arrangements and execution of all MICE activities handled by Travel executive and Assistant Manager- Travel. Show more Show less
