Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) Manager, India

Role Summary -

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) Manager to lead all aspects of corporate real estate, facilities management, and administrative operations for our India offices. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in facilities and property management, project management, vendor oversight, transport, engineering and security operations.


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of all facilities and real estate activities, including lease management, project management, budget control, vendor management, and compliance with corporate, regional, and local standards. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of managing complex, multi-location operations.


Principal Responsibilities -

Real Estate Management

  • Actively monitor lease agreements and market intelligence on tenant property markets.

  • Optimize office space allocation to meet evolving business needs.

  • Plan and execute office relocations, renovations, and fit outs with minimal disruption to operations.

  • Ensure efficient and ergonomic workplace designs.


Project Management

  • Lead project teams for fit outs of new spaces as required by the firm.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, HR, and external vendors, to drive real estate projects, manage budgets, and support business expansion initiatives in India.

Vendor and Contract Management

  • Collaborate with the regional sourcing team to ensure compliance with sourcing policies and processes for all vendor engagements.

  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors related to Corporate Services and Facilities Management.

  • Oversee activities managed by service providers, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements.


General Oversight and Coordination

  • Develop, enhance, and implement policies and guidelines related to Corporate Services activities in India to align with corporate, regional, and local standards.

  • Ensure timely completion of regulatory and internal reporting, audits, and permanent supervision controls.

  • Monitor lease contracts, manage expiries and rent reviews, and prepare necessary materials for management decision-making processes.


Budget & Cost Control

  • Manage the local budget and ensure compliance with year-end requirements.

  • Oversee the payment of invoices, verifying accuracy and supporting documentation.

  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, including energy-saving and sustainability programs.


Facilities Management

  • Oversee daily operations and manage relationships with outsourced Facilities Management (FM) service providers, ensuring high-performance standards.

  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs in collaboration with FM partners.

  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities, including power shutdowns and drills.

  • Manage facilities services, including document storage, inventory, asset management, and front-of-house services.


Engineering & Security

  • Collaborate with regional engineering teams on critical environment and equipment maintenance.

  • Ensure physical security compliance with corporate, regional, and local standards, including equipment monitoring and reporting.

  • Manage physical security operations across all India locations, including Bangalore and Mumbai offices.


Office Administration

  • Ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of branch facilities.

  • Manage frameworks for hotel bookings, car rentals, and regulatory matters (e.g., municipal interactions, water/electricity, taxes).

  • Provide support for branch events, including food arrangements and other logistical needs.

Qualification and Skills required -

  • Experience between 17 – 20 years in corporate real estate, facilities management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing building services, including critical environment systems.

  • Expertise in Vendor Management, Real Estate, facility management, including travel, document storage, and front-of-house operations.

  • Strong supervisory experience in facilities and commercial property management.

  • Knowledge of legislation related to building management and maintenance.

  • Ability to analyze technical issues and communicate key messages effectively to decision-makers.

  • Strong organizational and people management skills, with the ability to work autonomously within broad organizational frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a broad range of evolving issues.

  • Possessing excellent communication skills, a strong and confident personality, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
