Legal Team
Worldwide, the group's legal team consists of around 150+ employees and 15+ of these are based in India. The legal team works closely with our sales and operations colleagues and with management at all levels. This role is supporting People Places & Solutions Line of Business throughout the US region.We are looking to recruit a qualified lawyer with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience to support the P&PS North America legal team and based out of our Gurugram office.

The roles on offer are immensely varied and challenging and will give the successful candidate the chance to make a real contribution to an exciting range of legal and commercial work.Reporting to the US attorney responsible for design for design-build projects within the Building & Infrastructure Americas legal team, the successful candidate will support the P&PS Americas team remotely with the following tasks
- Take responsibility for a wide range of construction and services contracts, from bid stage to negotiation and completion, including contracts with clients, joint venture agreements, guarantees, sub-contracts and confidentiality agreements.
- Streamlined contracts process (task orders under an existing framework)
- Deviations from standard terms
- Assist with some contract management
- Drafting/reviewing of letters (exclusivity, non-exclusive sub-consultant)
Preferred (but Not Required) International Experience
- Experience with state and local public procurement procedures
- Experience with design perspectives of design-build programs
- Experience with joint ventures and LLCs, including counsel to corresponding boards of directors
- Experience with professional liability, general liability, pollution, and builder’s risk insurance
- Experience with bid protests
- Experience with contracts database management
- Experience with collecting and analysing KPIs and other contracts data
