Corporate Communications Manager

As a Corporate Communications Manager at Apple in India, you will play a crucial role in shaping and sharing the stories about Apple's innovative products and services, as well as the values that drive the company. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a focused corporate communications strategy for Apple Retail and Apple Values, proactively communicating Apple messages to targeted media and creators in India. This role will involve working closely with media and content creators to manage the company's corporate reputation and communicate Apple's contributions in key areas such as Apple Retail ecosystem, accessibility and education, customer privacy, and environmental leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Lead activities with media and content creators to manage Apple's corporate reputation in India - Proactively communicate Apple's messages related to Apple Retail and Apple Values - Think strategically and execute activations with high attention to detail - Anticipate, manage, and mitigate PR issues in collaboration with local and global teams - Create and deliver campaigns to increase awareness and understanding of Apple Retail and Apple Values - Collaborate with various teams and functions to showcase Apple as a force for good - Develop and execute global communications initiatives tailored to the local audience - Strategic planning and execution, including identifying and managing issues in a fast-paced environment - Coordinate closely with the wider management team in the region and worldwide PR teams Qualifications Required: - 8+ years" experience in public relations, working at a PR agency or in-house PR teams - Strong network of media and influencer contacts in tech, environment, and sustainability space - Fluency in English is required - Ability to travel up to 30% Preferred Qualifications: - Strong media and influencer relationships in the tech, policy, and consumer space - Experience in developing and placing stories - Retail PR experience is valuable but not essential - Successfully delivered creative corporate PR campaigns with meaningful impact - Ability to develop effective communications targeting different audiences - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects - Excellent writing and editing skills with the creativity to simplify complex topics - Analytical skills to analyze media coverage and apply insights to work - Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, demonstrating integrity - Self-motivated, positive team-player with a passion for consumer technology - Ability to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions - Bachelor's degree preferred Join Apple's communications team in India and be a part of the innovative and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact through your strategic communication efforts.,
