Role Purpose

Strategically managing perception, protecting the brand, and influencing stakeholders to support business objectives. A strong external communication leader can directly impact brand equity, crisis readiness, customer trust, and overall business performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute external communication strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
  • Manage media relations, press releases, and public statements to ensure consistent and positive brand representation.
  • Lead crisis communication planning and execution to safeguard brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of messaging across all external channels.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, public sentiment, and communication effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including media, industry bodies, and influencers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards in all external communications.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in external communications, preferably in a corporate or agency setup.
  • Certifications (Optional): PR or media training certifications.

Must-Haves

  • 8–12 years of experience in external communications (corporate or agency).
  • Recent experience in Automobile / Auto Components industry.
  • Strong communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Notice Period: 0–30 Days.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Certifications in PR or media training (preferred, not mandatory).

Interview Process

  • 2 Virtual Rounds.
