Corporate Communication Lead

Company Description

Halder Venture Limited is a leading rice and edible oil manufacturing company with a legacy dating back to 1924. Headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company has a global presence across Europe, Asia, and Africa, supported by four manufacturing units located across West Bengal.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Kolkata, West Bengal. The person will be responsible for the following:

1. Lead PR and corporate communication strategy, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms (social media as one channel)

- Drive communication initiatives to enhance brand reputation and visibility

- Collaborate with press to manage PR

2. Define creative and brand strategy - maintaining consistent brand voice, internal communication, investor communication, and crisis messaging for a stronger corporate communication.

3. Develop high-quality content for corporate announcements, media releases, investor communication and leadership messaging.

4. Manage digital marketing campaigns - oversee and optimize digital marketing efforts

5. Coordinate with different teams within the company - ensuring cohesive branding strategies with finance, sales, product, factory

6. Manage budget and reporting along with negotiation with different vendors and agencies

7. Track industry trends and competitor communication strategies to guide the company’s communication approach and strengthen market positioning

Qualifications/Essential Skills

a)     Strong verbal, reading and writing skills in English, Hindi & Bengali

b)    Strong task management skill – need to be highly organized and be able to work under pressure with strict adherence to timelines

c)     Good Interpersonal communication skills

d)    Need to have experience overseeing communication across media platforms (press, social media, investor relations, etc.)

e)    Need to have a good eye for branding consistency and design sensibilities
