Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales - Rice located in Kolkata. The Head of Sales will be responsible for the following:

• Launching the rice consumer brand in modern trade, e-commerce, and quick commerce channels.
• Managing sales of rice varieties through the above-mentioned channels.
• Developing policies to enhance the sales of rice varieties.
• Maintaining liaisons with modern trade, e-commerce, and partners.
• Support the branding or marketing team with necessary initiatives.
• Responsible for the P&L of rice sales through these three channels.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills and sales skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong acumen for brand development in the food FMCG space
• Must have experience in handling food FMCG brands in the modern trade and e-commerce space
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA preferred
• Having experience working on a rice brand will be a plus.
