Job Description

Role Summary:

International Relations Coordinator


Key Responsibilities:

Student & Faculty Mobility Coordination

  • Coordinate

    outbound and inbound mobility

    for students and faculty including short-term programs, semester exchanges, and internships.
  • Manage

    application processing, selection logistics, travel plans, accommodation, insurance, and visa documentation

    .
  • Support pre-departure and post-arrival orientations for outgoing and incoming students.
  • Maintain records and prepare mobility reports as required.

Partner Institution Communication & Support

  • Act as the

    primary operational point of contact

    for international partner institutions.
  • Support execution and tracking of

    MoUs, Letter of Intent (LoIs)

    , and

    collaborative activities

    .
  • Coordinate scheduling of virtual or in-person meetings with international partners.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Handle documentation and approvals for international travel, partnership proposals, and event participation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal university processes and government regulations for international collaborations.

International Student Support

  • Assist

    international students and visiting faculty

    with onboarding, visa processes, housing, and campus integration.
  • Liaise with internal departments (academic, hostel, admissions, accounts) to ensure end-to-end support.

Event & Delegation Coordination

  • Organize and execute

    international events, delegations, workshops, global weeks, and student engagement activities

    .
  • Coordinate logistics, hospitality, and follow-ups for international visitors and delegations.

Marketing & Communication

  • Assist in creating promotional material for exchange programs, summer schools, and global engagement activities.
  • Maintain updated content on the university’s

    international relations website section and social media platforms

    .


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in International Relations, Business Administration, or Education.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in operations, administration, or coordination roles—preferably in an academic or international office.


Skills Required:

  • Strong

    organizational and execution

    skills.
  • Excellent

    interpersonal and written communication

    abilities.
  • Working knowledge of

    MS Office, Google Workspace

    , and collaborative tools.
  • Experience managing

    logistics, travel, visa documentation

    , and partner communication.
  • Ability to work across departments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Exposure to

    international education frameworks

    or exchange programs (Erasmus+, UKIERI, GIZ, etc.).
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse student and academic communities.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines with attention to detail.
