1. Develop and implement the company-wide contracting strategy in alignment with business goals, standardize contract templates, clauses, and review protocols across all business verticals and geographies, provide strategic advice on risk allocation, dispute avoidance, claims management, and contractual compliance, Collaborate with Business Development and Bidding Teams to analyze RFPs and tender documents for commercial and legal implications.
2. Minimize financial risk exposure by ensuring protective contract conditions and robust claims processes, Drive early identification and quantification of variations, claims, and disputes to recover entitlements, Review contract budgets for legal provisions, contingencies, liquidated damages, and delay penalties.
3. Establish performance metrics for contract efficiency, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction, Implement contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and digitized documentation workflows.
4. Lead contract administration across all project stages: pre-award, post-award, execution, and close-out, Build and mentor a capable contract management team across corporate and site levels, Guide project teams in interpreting contract clauses, handling change orders, and managing claims.
FIDIC Contract Training Certification, NICMAR Certificate in Contracts & Claims Management, PMP or RICS Accreditation (optional), Arbitration Council Membership (preferred for legal contract specialists).
