Contract Manager

Purpose of the Position:

As a contracts manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing important documents relating to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing BOQ’s for new activities as per project requirements.
• Float the BOQ in the market and call for quotation. 
• Finalize the requirements from Projects team / site execution team. 
• Negotiation with contractors & preparation of Comparative Statement for management review. 
• Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of contracts
• Agreeing budgets and timescales & other terms with contractor.
• Managing construction schedules and budgets. 
• Vendor Analysis in terms of quality of work, financial background, manpower & other strengths / weakness. 
• Attending site meetings to monitor progress
• Acting as the main point of contact for contractors, site and project managers
• Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
• Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
• Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client s own representatives
• Overseeing invoicing at the regular intervals.
• Open to work on-site and in an office. 
• Contactor on boarding activities after due legal & statutory compliance documentation part. 
• Kick off meetings with contractor & site execution team. 
• Settlement of extra claims raised by contractor.
