Continuous Improvement (CI) Partner

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Partner at APM Terminals, your primary responsibility will be to drive performance and productivity by identifying process inefficiencies, facilitating process improvements, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across different teams. You will play a vital role in optimizing processes, delivering measurable results in customer satisfaction, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities: - Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and cost-saving using Lean Six Sigma tools - Plan, facilitate, and execute continuous improvement events like Kaizen to enhance operational efficiency - Support change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation and adoption of changes - Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and align with organizational goals - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and drive optimization - Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement methodologies and tools - Ensure acceptance and application of global standards in local CX & Execution teams - Challenge standardization practices hindering customer quality, efficiency, and digitization agenda - Assist Area CX Manager in defining local metrics, performance management cycles, and change management strategies - Promote a continuous improvement mindset through LEAN techniques/tools and propose solutions for process/CX & Execution gaps - Drive TIP initiatives with quantifiable savings in cost or effort and improvements in Customer-felt KPIs / Operational KPIs Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred - Experience: Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, or similar roles - Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles - Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders This role is crucial for organizations seeking to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate overall performance.
