Outlook India is seeking a Web Writer specializing in breaking news and business-focused content to deliver timely, engaging stories across the gaming, esports, anime, music, and youth culture sectors. This role requires producing high-volume, SEO-optimized content that keeps industry professionals and business stakeholders informed on the latest developments, trends, and opportunities in these rapidly evolving industries.

Responsibilities:

● Write 3-4 high-quality articles daily covering breaking news and trending topics in gaming, esports, anime, and youth culture

● Create SEO-optimized guides, lists, and educational content for business readers and industry professionals

● Monitor news sources, social media, and press releases to find trending stories and breaking developments

● Cover company announcements, funding news, and major industry events with quick turnaround times

● Work with the editorial team to meet SEO requirements and publication deadlines

● Research and fact-check all stories to maintain Outlook India's editorial standards

Basic Qualifications:

● Experience: 2–5 years of experience in journalism, content writing.

● Excellent written English skills

● Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet daily publication quotas

● Basic understanding of SEO best practices and keyword optimization

● Knowledge of gaming, esports, anime, and youth culture industries, including major companies and current trends

● Strong research skills and ability to quickly gather information from multiple sources

● Great attention to detail for fact-checking while working at a fast pace

● Ability to write for business audiences and explain industry developments in accessible language.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with analytics tools and ability to track performance metrics

● Familiarity with project management tools (Slack, Trello, or similar)
